How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Sue Ross Recruitment are looking for a talented Personal Injury Executive to manage a portfolio of fast‑track Employer’s Liability and Public Liability (EL/PL) claims.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading personal injury team, supporting clients who have suffered injury and ensuring they receive the best possible outcome.
You’ll play a key role in progressing claims efficiently, negotiating robustly with third parties, and identifying litigation opportunities where appropriate. Experience with disease and RSI claims is desirable, but not essential for the right candidate.
    What You’ll Be Doing
    * Delivering exceptional client care to individuals who have suffered injury following an accident.
    * Analysing evidence and researching legal issues relating to liability, causation, and quantum.
    * Drafting key legal documents including witness statements, pleadings, and schedules of loss.
    * Securing early interim payments and arranging appropriate rehabilitation support.
    * Negotiating effectively to optimise settlement outcomes for clients.
    * Managing a busy caseload using a task‑based case management system, ensuring proactive and regular client contact.
    * Raising the profile of the department and contributing to its ongoing success.
    * Carrying out any additional duties reasonably required by the business.
    What We’re Looking For
    * A genuine passion for personal injury work.
    * Strong communication and negotiation skills, with confidence handling objections.
    * The ability to remain composed and effective when dealing with changing circumstances or challenging situations.
    * Experience handling MOJ Portal, non‑portal, and litigated personal injury claims.
    * A proactive, organised approach and a commitment to achieving excellent outcomes for clients.
    What’s in It for You
    * Annual discretionary bonus scheme.
    * Hybrid working to support flexibility and work‑life balance.
    * 25 days’ holiday, rising to 30 with length of service.
    * Up to 12 additional “Time for Me” days through condensed working.
    * Development opportunities within a platinum‑accredited Investors in People organisation.
Unfortunately due to the number of applications we receive, we are unable to provide individual feedback to all applicants. Please assume that if you do not hear from us within 72 hours that your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion.
May we take this opportunity to thank you for expressing an interest in one of our roles and wish you the very best in your search for employment
