How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Falcon Green is partnering with one of Europe’s top M&E contractors, known for delivering large-scale projects across Data Centres, Education, Healthcare, and Life Sciences. They’re looking for an ambitious Mechanical Engineer to join the team in Europe.
If you’re looking to take your career to the next level, this is a great chance to work on a high-profile, technically challenging project while gaining international experience. You’ll be joining a supportive, close-knit site team and there are clear opportunities to move into senior engineering or project management roles over time.
Employment will follow the host country’s local labour laws.
    What you’ll be doing:
    *
Running day-to-day mechanical site activities and keeping things on track.
    *
Coordinating the mechanical programme with other trades, package leads, engineers, and client teams.
    *
Keeping an eye on costs across the mechanical package.
    *
Attending key meetings – site, engineering, planning, coordination, and handover.
    *
Maintaining up-to-date project records and weekly logs.
    *
Working closely with subcontractors to make sure safety, quality, and programme targets are met.
    What we’re looking for:
    *
At least 5 years’ experience in Mechanical Engineering.
    *
A recognised mechanical or building services engineering degree.
    *
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well in a team.
    *
Flexibility to travel as needed for the project.
    *
    Excellent English communication skills.
    *
Eligibility to work across European countries.
With multiple big projects recently awarded across mainland Europe, this is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term work with a contractor that really invests in its people. If this sounds like the right move for you, send us your CV to the email below
