How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    The Role:

    We are seeking a driven, confident, and customer focused Car Sales Executive to join a highly successful main dealership based in Chichester. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is motivated by delivering exceptional customer service while maximising sales opportunities.

    Responsibilities & Requirements of a Car Sales Executive:

    Deliver an exceptional and personalised customer experience from start to finish.

    Engage with customers professionally and confidently, both face-to-face and digitally.

    Actively promote new and used vehicle stock to maximise sales opportunities.

    Complete all sales administration accurately and promptly.

    Maintain strong product knowledge of the latest models, features, and finance options.

    Work collaboratively with the sales management team to achieve monthly targets.

    Conduct structured follow-up to ensure repeat business and customer retention.

    Represent the dealership brand to the highest standard at all times.

    Package:

    Basic Salary: £18,000, realistic & achievable OTE £75,000+ (Uncapped commission!), plus a company car & fantastic company benefits.

    Hours: Monday–Friday: 8:30am – 6:00pm, Saturday: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Sunday: 1 in 3 rota – 10:00am – 4:00pm
