Class 2 HGV Drivers – Vacuum Tanker Work (Sutton Coldfield)

We’re recruiting experienced Class 2 HGV drivers to join a modern, forward-thinking business specialising in vacuum tanker operations and overpumping work. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking long-term, stable employment with genuine career progression.

The Role:

*

Operating Class 2 vacuum tankers to deliver non-potable water and collect sewerage across the region

*

Using GB Domestic hours logbooks and tablet-based systems to manage vehicle checks, work tickets, and reports

*

Supporting sludge and overpumping operations (full training provided)

*

Working safely and professionally on client and public sites

*

Temp to Perm opportunity after successful probation

Shift Pattern:

*

4 on 4 off – Day Shift

*

Guaranteed 10 hours per shift

*

Overtime available for additional earnings

What We’re Offering:

£19.00 per hour (Ltd or Umbrella, IR35 exempt)

*

Guaranteed minimum 10 hours’ pay per shift

Essential Requirements:

*

Full Class 2 (Category C) licence with at least 6 months’ driving experience

*

Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

*

Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)

*

Sound understanding of Drivers’ Hours (Domestic & EU) and Working Time Directive

*

Physically fit – manual handling of hoses and tanker equipment is required

*

Confident using tablets or other digital systems for reporting

*

Professional, polite, and reliable attitude

Ideally You Will:

*

Have prior experience operating vacuum tankers or working in the wastewater/environmental sector

*

Be flexible and willing to work occasional overtime when required
