The Food Tech Department
You’ll teach in a recently upgraded Food Technology suite, guiding students through cooking, nutrition, hygiene, and cultural cuisines. The school places a strong emphasis on healthy living and practical independence, and your work will make a direct impact on students’ daily lives.
Your Role
* Deliver engaging and structured lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Teach practical cookery alongside theory on nutrition and sustainability
* Contribute to school events, such as cooking competitions and themed days
* Work alongside supportive DT colleagues and your assigned ECT mentor
Requirements
* Degree in Food Technology or related subject
* PGCE with QTS (or working toward this by July 2026)
* Passion for food education and inclusive, hands-on learning
