JOB ROLE/DUTIES:
You will be predominantly based at the yard, but you may be required to assist with dropping items to sites during drivers' absence. Reporting to the Yard Supervisor, your duties will include:
* Loading/unloading of plant/materials from vehicles at site and in the yard.
* Once vehicle arrives on site, it is the driver’s responsibility to make sure the correct materials are taken off from the van and the paperwork is signed for.
* From time to time, must be prepared to work out of hours and weekends.
* Must be respectful and presentable when meeting site clients and suppliers.
* Help yard supervisor with requisitions that need to be prepared for the following day or weeks requests.
* Report any issues that arise during the working hours to the yard supervisor.
* Keeping the yard and office area clear of rubbish and debris.
* Light administration filing documents and receipts.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
* Minimum age of 21
* Minimum 1 Years Driving Experience
* No Criminal record
* Clean Driving Licence
* Strong and Hard-working
* Good at working as a team member
* Knowledge of London driving
WORKING HOURS:
* Monday-Friday - 7:30amam-5:00pm (8 Hour Day, 40 Hour Week)
* 1 hour break for lunch
