Master Class are working in partnership with a SEN school in the local area who require a fabulous new member of staff to join their team! The school is a generic special needs setting and has exemplary facilities offering vast amounts of opportunities for each student.
You will be working alongside the class teacher and other TA's to encourage learning and development at all times. You may be based in any subject area - although the school are keen to learn about your interests and skills. Please note - there may be an element of personal care to this role.
Your day at the school will be quite varied as the students enjoy formal sessions, play based learning, physical activities and often are going on trips!
This is a long-term role (full academic year) Full time (Monday to Friday) Hours 8.30am to 15.30pm
Masterclass Education provide CPD recognised online training, covering subjects such as Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, Understanding Child Development, Violence Reduction, and more, to all of our candidates.
Must have:
* Ability to work well independently and as a team
* Has a passion to support and empower children and young people
* A DBS on the Updates Service, or be willing to obtain one
* Commitment to safeguarding students and young people
