We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a leading main contractor specialising in heritage refurbishment and restoration projects. Our client’s portfolio includes high-profile work within the education, public sector, and high-end residential sectors, with a focus on preserving and restoring historically significant buildings.
Based in Oxfordshire, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work on prestigious and challenging projects, where your expertise in managing complex, sensitive restoration work will be valued. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all on-site operations and ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to.
* Manage subcontractors and liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
* Ensure quality control and efficient project delivery.
* Maintain detailed records and reports.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager within heritage refurbishment and restoration.
* Strong understanding of building regulations, particularly in relation to listed buildings.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
* SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS qualifications.
