Supply Chain Coordinator - Fresh Produce

We currently offer a fantastic opportunity to join a successful Fresh Produce supplier, who are at the forefront of their product category within the industry, supplying UK Retailers with the best fresh produce from Worldwide Growers. Due to continued success, we are delighted to offer the opportunity to join the buying team in a Supply Chain / Procurement Coordinator role.
Working as part of a dedicated team to ensure the smooth supply of Fresh Produce across 7 days a week, the position of Supply Chain Coordinator will report to the Procurement Manager and will work closely with Procurement and Supply Chain colleagues becoming fundamental in the success of fresh produce product supply to key retail customers.
This Friday to Monday Supply Chain Coordinator opportunity offers a varied portfolio of responsibilities to include;
Support the management team across the procurement process to ensure an effective supply chain
Assist with seasonal reviews & programmes for each variety and supplier
Work with logistics & planning to ensure accurate stock information
Manage purchase orders and stock data through the ERP system Prophet
Liaise with growers to ensure accurate volumes and arrival data
Offer pricing & costing models on a weekly basis
We require;
Previous experience within a similar key support role, with exposure to stock Management systems or ERP, examples Prophet
Stock Planning, Procurement and Supply Chain experience within Fresh Produce is ideal
Attention to detail, with excellent IT and numeracy skills; Microsoft, Excel
Confident ability to work with all colleagues at all levels positively
Salary; up to £35k + benefits
Location: Kent
Hours - Friday to Monday
