How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    BMS Commissioning Engineer - Static sites

    I'm working closely with a small-medium sized BMS specialist who require a proficient BMS Commissioning Engineer to support two Data Centre clients. The products on site are Tridium and Trend.

    The company are based in the South East and have a solid history within the BMS industry. The BMS Commissioning Engineer role would suit an indivudual that is based West of London, Berkshire or Hertfordshire to commute to the client sites daily.

    The BMS Commissioning Engineer would be expected to carry out commissioning duties on both Trend & Tridium BMS projects, they currently lean towards Tridium BMS projects and have a healthy pipeline of quotes for Trend BMS work. The BMS Commissioning Engineer would be expected to complete commissioning tasks which would include modifications on site (the ability to write software from scratch would present more opportunities within the business and would command a higher package offer). Training on Trend products is on offer provided you have solid experience with Tridium.

    The BMS Commissioning Engineer package would include a basic of £40,000 - 55,000 with car or car allowance + pension + overtime rates + more.

    This opportunity would allow the successful BMS Commissioning Engineer to cover a localised area, maintain and develop customer relationships on site, maintain a healthy work-life balance, work with Trend & Tridium BMS products.
