1:1 Teaching Assistant

Kent Teaching Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in a Medway school. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive in their learning.
About the Role
You will be working on a one‑to‑one basis, supporting a pupil with Special Educational Needs.
Your role will involve:
• Providing tailored support to meet the pupil’s individual learning needs
• Assisting with classroom activities and personalised learning tasks
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies
• Encouraging independence, confidence and engagement throughout the school day
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
• Patient, empathetic and committed to supporting children with SEND
• Able to build positive relationships and communicate effectively
• Reliable, proactive and willing to learn
• Experienced in SEND support (desirable but not essential)
• Open to training and development — no degree required
