    About the Company


    My client are a specialist multidisciplinary team supporting children and young people with complex physical and learning disabilities.


    Salary: Band 6/7 - £44k–£58k (Term-time only)


    About the Role


    Looking for a motivated Band 6 or 7 Occupational Therapist to join a specialist multidisciplinary team supporting children and young people with complex physical and learning disabilities. You will manage a specialist caseload, delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions to support students’ independence, functional skills, and access to education.



    Responsibilities


    • Deliver specialist OT assessments and interventions
    • Manage a caseload of complex needs independently
    • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT)
    • Support students with:
    • Functional skills
    • Sensory needs
    • Access to learning
    • Provide training and advice to education staff
    • Recommend and review specialist equipment and adaptations
    • Contribute to service development, audits, and projects


    Qualifications


    • Degree in Occupational Therapy + HCPC registration


    Required Skills


    • Complex disabilities
    • Learning disabilities / SEND


    Ability to:


    • Work autonomously (Band 6 level)
    • Manage a complex caseload
    • Communicate with families, carers, and professionals
    • Experience supervising or supporting junior staff (desirable)


    Preferred Skills
