SSQ is partnering with a leading global healthcare and tech company to appoint a Legal Counsel in to join its UK legal team.
This is an opportunity for a 2-5PQE commercially minded lawyer to play an integral role in supporting the company’s digital transformation and data innovation agenda. The successful candidate will provide strategic legal guidance across digital solutions, data governance, and privacy matters, working closely with global and regional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial contracts, including software, data sharing, and technology licensing agreements.
- Provide pragmatic legal advice on digital, data, and technology-related projects and initiatives.
- Support business teams on product development, digital solutions, and innovation projects
- Liaise with external counsel where appropriate and manage related disputes or risk matters.
- Stay up to date with legal developments in data, digital, and technology law, identifying risks and opportunities.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with strong commercial experience (2-5PQE).
- An interest in in digital, IT, and data privacy law.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to provide clear, business-focused advice.
