    • Maintain stock levels, carry out regular stock checks, and support full stocktakes
    • Ensure storage areas are organised, safe, and secure, reporting any issues promptly
    • Support laboratory systems (e.g. Temperature monitoring, gases, liquid nitrogen)
    • Coordinate contractor visits and support planned maintenance activities
    • Assist with waste management processes, including recycling and specialist disposal
    • Respond to internal queries regarding stock availability and deliveries
    • Provide day-to-day support across laboratory operations
    • Troubleshoot operational issues and support continuous improvement
    • Assist with office and facilities management tasks

    About You

    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
    • High attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
    • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to adapt to change
    • Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
    • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel (experience with ordering systems is beneficial)
    • Clear communication and numeracy skills
    • Previous experience in goods-in, stores, or operational environments is advantageous
    • Willingness to undertake manual handling tasks where required

    • Salary: £29,000 – £33,000
