We’re partnering exclusively with a high-growth, sustainability-led challenger brand undergoing rapid scale (UK, US and beyond). This is a mission-critical interim role to redesign and deliver a next-generation fulfilment operation during a pivotal growth phase.
This is not a BAU role — this is about rebuilding fulfilment from the ground up, at pace.
🚀 Your Core Responsibilities
This role requires a high-impact operator who can come in immediately, take ownership, and deliver a full logistics transformation within a tight timeframe.
3PL Tender & Implementation
Lead and execute a full end-to-end 3PL tender process — from selection through to onboarding and go-live.
Fulfilment Transformation
Redesign the entire fulfilment model — including warehouse setup, packaging, automation, and operational workflows.
Systems & Integration
Implement end-to-end systems integration across inventory, order management, and logistics platforms (Shopify, WMS, etc.).
Operational Scalability
Build a fulfilment operation capable of scaling 5x current volumes (from ~180k to 900k monthly orders at peak).
Performance & SLA Ownership
Drive best-in-class fulfilment metrics (e.g. >99.8% accuracy, >95% 24-hour dispatch SLA).
Inventory Visibility & Accuracy
Introduce robust inventory management processes and system integration to eliminate current visibility gaps.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner closely with Supply Chain, CX, Growth, Finance, and external partners to ensure seamless end-to-end execution.
💪 What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a seasoned interim leader who has delivered this exact type of transformation multiple times — and can hit the ground running.
Experience & Background
- 10+ years in logistics / fulfilment leadership roles (interim or permanent)
- Proven experience leading 3PL tenders and full transitions
- Strong background in DTC / eCommerce / high-velocity outbound operations
Technical & Operational Expertise
- Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain (WMS, OMS, inventory, carrier integrations)
- Experience implementing automation, barcoding, and warehouse optimisation
- Knowledge of dangerous goods handling (desirable, not essential)
Delivery Mindset
- Hands-on, delivery-focused — not afraid to roll sleeves up
- Able to operate at speed and under pressure in high-growth environments
- Strong problem-solver who can bring structure to complexity quickly
Leadership & Influence
- Confident influencing across senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Able to lead without direct authority — driving outcomes across the business
