How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Description


    Role overview

    FRP Advisory is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Insolvency Administrator to join our Restructuring department within the Court Work Team. The candidate will have a background in restructuring advisory and insolvency, including bankruptcies and liquidations. This role involves the statutory reporting and administration tasks to ensure statutory deadlines are met and also smooth progression of the team’s caseload.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Under the direct supervision of more senior members of the team, to assist with the pro-active administration of insolvency cases, comprising WUCs and BKYs, in accordance with specific timescales
    • Production of good quality reports and letters
    • Completion of all tasks and formalities in accordance with statutory deadlines and internal protocols
    • Maintaining an effective diary system in this respect
    • Assist with tasks in accordance with statutory investigations, including analysing company records and presenting the same in a clear and professional format.
    • Monitoring, maintenance and up-dating of check lists on a weekly basis
    • Taking personal responsibility to ensure that any tasks delegated by more senior staff are completed in a timely and professional manner
    • Self-development: to enhance technical knowledge and to keep abreast of industry developments/new case law


    Qualifications

    • Experience in an insolvency role
    • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
    • GCSE English and Mathematics ‘B’ (5/6) grade or above (or equivalent) preferable
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
    • CPI/CII an advantage but not essential
