Ralph Christian is a fast-growing direct-to-consumer watch and jewellery brand known for bold, statement designs. We sell globally through our own e-commerce store and have built a loyal following for timepieces & jewellery that is designed to stand out.
The Role
We're looking for an Assistant Buyer to help drive our product pipeline. You'll work alongside our Director, and your job is to make things happen. Research suppliers, source samples, present options for sign-off, place orders, chase deliveries, and keep the whole pipeline moving.
This isn't a passive role. You'll drive the process from sourcing through to stock landing in our warehouses. If you're the kind of person who gets frustrated watching things stall because nobody's chasing, this is for you.
What You'll Do
- Research and identify suppliers and manufacturers
- Request and manage product samples
- Present sourcing options clearly for quick decision-making
- Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and payment terms
- Place and track purchase orders across our US and UK supply chains
- Chase suppliers on delivery timelines and flag delays early
- Coordinate inbound shipments with our warehouse partners
- Work with inventory planning tools to flag stockout risks and overstock issues
- Ensure stock lands in time for major sales events
- Be the primary day-to-day contact for suppliers
- Manage quality issues, returns, and credit notes
What We're Looking For
Must-Have:
- 2-4 years' experience in a buying, sourcing, or procurement role (fashion, accessories, or consumer goods preferred)
- Proven ability to manage purchase orders and supplier relationships
- Highly organised; nothing falls through the cracks
- Self-starter who drives processes forward without being chased
- Confident communicator who can bridge between internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Comfortable with spreadsheets and data
- Based within commuting distance of Potters Bar
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience sourcing from the Far East
- Familiarity with inventory planning or demand forecasting
- Interest in watches, jewellery, or accessories
- Experience in a DTC or e-commerce environment

Salary & Benefits
- £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
- Office-based in Potters Bar, North London
