How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Electronic Project Coordinator

    Stevenage | Hybrid Working | Up to £45,000 + Bonus & Benefits


    A leading defence engineering organisation is seeking an Electronic Project Coordinator to support the delivery of complex, high-value engineering programmes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in project management, with clear progression into an Engineering Project Manager position.


    Working alongside experienced Project Managers and technical specialists, you will gain exposure across the full project lifecycle, from early-stage bids through to delivery, while developing the skills needed to take ownership of your own projects over time.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support the delivery of engineering projects to time, cost, and quality targets

    • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities

    • Contribute to bid and proposal development

    • Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external suppliers

    • Learn from senior Project Managers, with a view to progressing into a leadership role

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Degree in a relevant technical discipline (ideally Electronic Engineering)

    • Exposure to electronic engineering or product development environments

    • Experience working within an engineering or technical setting

    • Understanding of project management fundamentals (planning, scheduling, coordination)

    • Competency with Excel and ideally some experience with Primavera P6

    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams

    A proactive mindset and genuine interest in developing within project management are key for success in this role.
