About the Role
We are currently recruiting CACHE Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistants and Nursery Practitioners to work across a range of primary schools and early years settings in Sheffield and Rotherham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for passionate and reliable practitioners who are looking for flexible work, variety, and the chance to gain experience in different educational environments. Roles are available in EYFS, Nursery, and Reception classes, with opportunities for both short-term and long-term placements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children’s learning and development in EYFS and primary settings
- Work with individuals and small groups to deliver targeted support
- Assist with phonics, early literacy, and numeracy activities
- Help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment
- Support children with additional needs, including SEND
- Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times
- Adapt quickly to different settings and routines
About You
We are looking for candidates who:
- Hold a CACHE Level 3 qualification (or equivalent in Childcare/Early Years)
- Have experience working with children in a nursery or school setting
- Are enthusiastic, caring, and passionate about supporting young learners
- Are flexible, reliable, and confident in new environments
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills
- Have a good understanding of safeguarding practices
