We are seeking a skilled Heavy Plant Fitter for a full-time, on-site role based in Alton. The role involves maintaining, servicing, and repairing a variety of heavy plant machinery, ensuring all equipment is safe and operational. Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, replacing or repairing damaged parts, conducting routine inspections, and maintaining accurate maintenance records. You will play a key role in ensuring machinery remains in optimal condition to meet operational demands.
- Strong experience in maintaining and repairing heavy plant machinery, including diagnosing faults and conducting mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Proficiency in handling tools and equipment specific to heavy plant maintenance and servicing.
- Ability to work safely and adhere to health and safety regulations in the workplace.
- Strong organizational skills for managing maintenance logs and service records.
- Relevant certifications in plant maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A valid UK driving license is preferred.
