We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Cheshire, who are recruiting for a Fire Compliance Officer on a six-month contract.
The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable between £30-35 an hour via an Umbrella Company.
This role will focus on managing fire compliance programmes, ensuring all testing, servicing and remedial works are delivered in line with statutory requirements and internal standards.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing contractors delivering fire safety testing, servicing and remedial works
- Monitoring compliance programmes and ensuring all activities meet regulatory requirements
- Reviewing quality of works and addressing any performance issues
- Managing budgets and spend across compliance workstreams
- Overseeing compliance documentation, records and reporting dashboards
- Ensuring accurate and up-to-date data is maintained across systems
Key details:
- Rate: £23 per hour (Umbrella)
- Contract: Initial 6 months (high potential to go permanent)
- Location: Agile working with at least 1 day per week in Macclesfield office
- Requirement: Full UK driving licence essential
Working hours:
- 37 hours per week
- Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
