The Position
We are seeking a talented Animator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the artistic vision of game production set out by the Product team and use the artwork provided by the Lead Artist and use 2D animation to bring artwork to life.
💼 You’ll play a key role by….
- Liaising with front end development team members and design teams
- Researching and developing technical tools for a project
- Setting up workflows of art production
- Supporting artists and programmers
- Assisting in asset performance and validation
- Developing and maintaining resources and pipelines along with programmers
- Porting finished art to the game engine
- Ensuring final art runs to full visual resolution
- Working within the limits of the game engine, curating file sizes
- Enforcing standards as outlined by heads of departments
- Preparing and designing character systems such as skeletons, cloths, effect emitters
- Optimising environments and establishing physics barriers
- Monitoring the performance of the game
- Resolving minor changes and technical issues with regards to animation, resizing and any other unforeseen changes to existing artwork and animation.
