This is a full-time, on-site Chef role based in Barnstaple. The Chef will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals, ensuring compliance with food hygiene and safety standards, and managing kitchen operations effectively. Key duties include menu planning, inventory management, collaborating with the kitchen team, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The Chef will also focus on delivering exceptional customer satisfaction by creating enjoyable dining experiences for guests.
- Professional culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Experience in developing menus and managing inventory effectively
- Knowledge and adherence to food hygiene, health and safety regulations, and best practices
- Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage and collaborate with a team
- Organizational and time management skills to operate in a fast-paced kitchen environment

- Previous experience in a similar role in hospitality or catering is advantageous
