Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Dispatch Operative, located in Chertsey. The Dispatch Operative will be responsible for handling and preparing orders for dispatch, managing inventory, coordinating with the customer service team, and ensuring timely delivery of products. Day-to-day tasks include packing and labeling products, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with other departments to streamline operations.
Salary Range: £25-30k per annum
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare products for dispatch to domestic and international customers
- Ensure all shipments are correctly labelled, documented, and quality-checked
- Liaise with couriers and track deliveries to ensure timely fulfilment
- Maintain a clean and organised dispatch area
- Support inventory management and basic stock movements where required
- Work closely with the production and customer service teams to meet delivery deadlines
About You
- Organised and methodical, with a strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using shipping systems and basic IT tools (we’ll train you)
- Proactive and positive – happy to work independently and as part of a team
- Takes pride in delivering high-quality work, even under pressure
- Previous experience in dispatch, warehouse or logistics is preferred, but not essential
