How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Product & Marketing to lead the product and go-to-market strategy for a global portfolio of technical B2B solutions. This role is responsible for portfolio strategy, product roadmap, positioning, and pricing—leveraging customer insights and market intelligence to prioritize investment and drive growth. The initial focus will be to guide two major product launches currently in progress while defining the next development priorities. Additionally, the role will strengthen the brand presence, enhance digital marketing performance, and ensure consistent execution across regions.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategy & Portfolio Leadership

    • Define the portfolio vision and strategy across multiple markets, including Food & Beverage, Pharma, Municipal, Pools, and Semiconductor.
    • Govern roadmap decisions, translating customer feedback and market insights into product requirements, investment cases, and prioritization.
    • Develop and maintain clear, consistent positioning architecture and value propositions across the portfolio.
    • Lead product lifecycle management from requirements and prioritization through to launch readiness and portfolio optimization.

    Commercial Leadership (Positioning & Pricing)

    • Develop and maintain pricing strategy and governance, including frameworks, discount guidance, and change control.
    • Collaborate with sales to enhance commercial discipline, providing clear offers, claims, and tools for confident selling.
    • Ensure defensible performance claims across all customer-facing materials.

    Launches, Go-to-Market & Enablement

    • Lead go-to-market planning and execution for product launches and major updates.
    • Drive successful adoption of two significant product launches currently underway.
    • Develop partner/distributor enablement programs and sales assets to increase win rates and reduce sales cycles.

    Brand, Demand Generation & Digital

    • Set communications strategy and content priorities across web, digital campaigns, PR, trade media, and events.
    • Lead improvements in digital performance (website, SEO, conversion) to build a measurable lead-generation pipeline.
    • Own the global exhibitions/events calendar to maximize targeting, follow-up discipline, and ROI.
    • Develop a marketing team where over 50% of content is produced internally, supplemented by external experts.
    • Emphasize educational content, case studies, and applications science throughout all customer-facing media.

    Leadership & Operating Cadence

    • Lead and develop two direct reports with clear priorities and accountability.
    • Establish an operating rhythm including roadmap reviews, launch gates, content governance, and campaign planning.
    • Manage agencies, suppliers, and budgets to deliver high-quality outputs efficiently.

    Success Measures (12–18 Months)

    • Successful delivery of two major product launches with strong sales readiness and early market traction.
    • Customer-validated roadmap and 12–24 month portfolio plan with clear investment priorities.
    • Differentiated positioning and consistent messaging across sales tools and campaigns.
    • Established digital lead-generation stream with measurable traffic, conversion, and lead improvements.
    • Improved targeting, lead quality, and ROI from exhibitions and events.
    • Demonstrated deep understanding of the product, applications, competitors, and alternative technologies.

    Skills & Experience

    • Strong background in Product Management, Product Marketing, or Marcoms with exposure across both functions.
    • Experience in product positioning and pricing in B2B/technical markets.
    • Strategic thinker with a track record of portfolio prioritization, launch leadership, and cross-functional influence.
    • Commercially astute, able to translate technical detail into customer value propositions.
    • Comfortable with ~25% global travel and regular customer engagement.
    • Degree-qualified in a technical discipline or equivalent experience managing complex technical product portfolios.
    • Experience in water, Food & Beverage, or related technical industries is advantageous.

    • Location: Slough
    • Reporting to: Managing Director
    • Direct reports: Marketing Specialist, Digital Marketing Specialist
    • Travel: ~25% global
