    Job description

United Infrastructure is a leading infrastructure, construction, and property services company in the UK. We help our customers and the communities they serve benefit from resilient infrastructure, affordable homes, and improved living spaces that are fit for the future. Our mission is to be the partner and employer of choice for designing, building, maintaining, and connecting communities and critical infrastructure, to create a more sustainable and inclusive society.

United Infrastructure Group is comprised of four complementary businesses, all dedicated to realising our vision of creating a connected, sustainable future:

Property Services – We revitalise homes and communities through the regeneration of living spaces, breathing new life into neighbourhoods. From delivering large programmes of work for social housing providers, to ensuring the highest building safety standards, we provide a range of services for public sector clients.

Infrastructure Services – Our team of infrastructure specialists design, build and maintain critical energy and water infrastructure, for the UK’s largest network owners and operators. The work we do supports the requirement for effective solutions to address the UK’s decarbonisation goals, and our processes minimise environmental and carbon impacts, whilst ensuring the safe and reliable operation of assets.

New Homes - As experienced and specialist new build housing contractors, we create homes and regenerate areas with communities in mind. We work collaboratively with registered partners, local authorities, and private developers to provide high quality, energy efficient, and sustainable homes for people to live and grow.

Connected - We connect people through fixed-line and wireless telecom infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication and access to information for all. At United Living, we have one of the largest specialist in-house teams for project management, acquisition, design, construction, and maintenance in the UK.

    Job Description

As Reward & Benefits Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, shaping and delivering reward strategies that directly support business performance. This role goes beyond operational delivery and is about using data, insight, and market intelligence to influence decisions, drive fairness, and strengthen our employee value proposition.

You will own the end-to-end reward landscape, ensuring our compensation and benefits offering is competitive, commercially sound, and aligned to organisational goals. From leading annual reward cycles to advising on complex pay decisions, you will play a key role in enabling a high-performance culture.

    Key Responsibilities

You will partner closely with HR and business leaders to translate business priorities into effective reward strategies, providing clear, commercially focused advice on pay, incentives, and benefits.

You will lead core reward activity including salary reviews and bonus cycles, ensuring a robust, data-led approach to benchmarking, pay decisions, and governance. Alongside this, you will take ownership of pay structures, job evaluation, and grading frameworks, ensuring consistency and scalability as the organisation evolves.

A key part of the role is designing and enhancing incentive schemes that genuinely drive performance, ensuring alignment between reward outcomes and business results. You will also take a lead role in managing and delivering annual benefits renewals, working with providers to drive value, manage cost, and ensure continuity of service across a complex benefits landscape.

You will continuously review and optimise our benefits offering, navigating multiple providers and legacy arrangements where required, to create a more streamlined, competitive and valued employee proposition.

Using analytics and insight, you will identify trends, risks, and opportunities across reward, supporting fair and equitable outcomes while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will present clear, meaningful insights to senior stakeholders to inform decision-making.

    Key Skills & Experience

You bring strong experience within Reward, Compensation & Benefits, or a Reward Business Partner role, with a track record of operating in a commercially driven environment. You are confident working with data, able to translate complex analytics into clear, actionable insights.

You have proven experience managing benefits renewals end-to-end, and are comfortable operating within a complex benefits environment involving multiple providers, schemes, and legacy arrangements. It is essential that you have hands-on experience managing insured benefits such as private medical, dental, and life assurance, with a strong understanding of policy design, provider management, and cost control.

You are credible and influential, able to challenge and guide senior stakeholders while balancing business needs with fairness and governance. You have a strong understanding of reward frameworks, salary benchmarking, and job evaluation methodologies, and are comfortable operating in a role that blends strategy with hands-on delivery.

Experience within a complex or fast-paced organisation is advantageous, as is familiarity with HR systems and reward analytics tools, alongside an understanding of pay transparency and equity regulations. Experience or knowledge of pensions would be beneficial, particularly in supporting broader reward and benefits strategy.
