How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    SEN Teacher  
    Location: Essex, East London
    Contract: Full-time | Term-time only
    Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm
    Start Date: ASAP
    Pay: £150 to £200 per day
    Are you passionate about supporting children with SEN and SEMH needs?
    Are you looking for a role in a SEN and SEMH secondary school with students with minor and challenging behaviour.
    About the School
    This is a SEN and SEMH school with students age 11 to 16 years old, with minor and challenging behaviour. The school is looking for a SEN Teacher to join and support their current team.
    The school is a small site with only 30 students, with 3 to 5 students per class, supported with SEN Teaching Assistants.
     
    The Role
    As a SEN Teacher, you will:

    Teach English, Maths and Science at Secondary level.
    Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
    Encourage engagement, confidence and positive learning behaviours
    Provide 1:1 and small-group support both inside and outside the classroom
    Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO and head teacher.
    Promote emotional regulation, resilience and positive behaviour
    Help maintain a calm, safe and inclusive learning environmentThis role provides valuable experience to anyone looking to gain experience in a Secondary school setting.
