How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title:Class Teacher – KS3 SEN Class

    Salary:
    M1 – M6 | £32,916 – £45,352 per annum
    Plus SEN Allowance: £2,787 – £5,497

    Smart Education is currently recruiting for a Teacher to join a specialist all-age SEN setting in the Stratford-upon-Avon area. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a KS3 class of 7 pupils, providing high-quality teaching and personalised support within a nurturing and highly supportive environment.

    This role is ideal for a passionate teacher who is committed to inclusive education and has experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. The small class size allows for truly individualised teaching, strong relationship building, and meaningful progress.

    Job requirements:
    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
    • Experience teaching KS3 pupils
    • Experience supporting pupils with SEND or SEMH needs desirable

    • Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
    • Patient, adaptable and resilient approach
    • Enhanced Child & Adult DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

    Role responsibilities:
    • Teach and lead a KS3 class of 7 pupils
    • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual needs
    • Support pupils’ academic, emotional and social development
    • Work closely with teaching assistants and SEND professionals
    • Monitor progress and adapt learning strategies accordingly
    • Maintain a calm, positive and structured classroom environment
    • Work collaboratively with families and external professionals
