How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role: Mixed Year 4/5 Teacher
    Location: Spilsby, Lincolnshire
    Start Date: ASAP/April 2026
    Contract: Full-time, Temporary (Easter to July)
    Salary: £32,916-£45,352 per annum pro rata (depending on experience and/or qualifications)

    At Heart of Supply, we are delighted to be recruiting for a Mixed Year 4/5 Teacher to join a welcoming Key Stage 2 team in a school based in Spilsby, Lincolnshire. This Mixed Year 4/5 Teacher position is a full-time temporary role running from Easter through to July. The successful teacher will take on full planning responsibilities and will play an important part in supporting pupils’ progress throughout the term.     This welcoming primary setting in Spilsby provides an inclusive and supportive environment for children aged 4 to 11, with a strong focus on fostering positive relationships, personal growth and a love of learning. It is part of a local trust that works closely with staff to enhance provision and maintain high expectations for behaviour and attendance, with pupils encouraged to follow clear, consistent values that support their development.     What you will need:

    * QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

    * Recent experience teaching across KS2 (minimum of 6 weeks in a UK school)

    * Confidence delivering engaging lessons that are age-appropriate and accessible

    * Strong classroom presence and adaptable behaviour management strategies

    * Clear communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships quickly

    * A flexible, proactive mindset and a genuine passion for helping children thrive
