We’re looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join our clients high-performing Capital Delivery team, someone who can influence, challenge, and elevate safety standards across complex construction projects.

The Role
As a key member of the Health, Safety & Wellbeing team, you’ll play a critical role in shaping safety culture across major capital projects.
You’ll partner with project teams on-site and in the office, ensuring compliance, driving behavioural change, and providing expert guidance on high-risk construction activities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide expert H&S advice across capital delivery projects
- Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 and H&S legislation
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and hazard identification
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Coach and influence project managers and site teams
- Support safe delivery of high-risk activities (e.g. Temporary works, excavations, service avoidance)
- Monitor and report on safety performance and improvements
- Attend design and project meetings to embed safety from the outset
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety Advisor role within construction or infrastructure
- Strong working knowledge of CDM Regulations (2015)
- NEBOSH Diploma (Level 6) or equivalent
- IOSH membership (CertIOSH minimum – CMIOSH desirable)
- Experience in incident investigation, audits, and site-based safety
- Confident communicator who can challenge, influence, and coach stakeholders
- Full UK driving licence
