Salary: £40,317 to £52,300

We are now seeking an English Teacher to join a high achieving 11 to 18 school in East London on a full time basis from September. This secondary school has a strong academic focus; teachers and leaders set high expectations for academic achievement and personal accountability for positive and proactive behaviour. Confidence teaching across the English curriculum from KS3 to KS5 is essential for this role. The successful English teacher can expect to join a hard working and collaborative team, have regular professional development sessions, and be a part of an inclusive community. 

To be considered for this role, you will:

Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and confident classroom presence
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Have a degree in English or a closely related subject
Foster positive relationships with your students, setting and maintaining high expectations
Demonstrate high standards of professionalism
Communicate clearly and confidently, verbally and in writing
Hold UK Right to Work (we are unable to offer skilled worker sponsorship for this role)
