This daily supply role offers the opportunity to teach across subject areas, support learning in different school environments, and maintain strong classroom practice without the planning and assessment workload.

The schools are known for clear behaviour systems, supportive leadership, and consistent cover procedures, enabling supply teachers to focus on delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.

This Secondary Supply Teacher role in Wandsworth would suit experienced Secondary Teachers, ECTs confident with classroom management, or subject specialists seeking flexibility.

Key Responsibilities of a Secondary Supply Teacher:

    *

Deliver pre-planned lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.

    *

Maintain high expectations for pupil behaviour and learning.

    *

Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different classes and subjects.

    *

Support pupils’ engagement, progress and positive conduct.

    *

Follow school safeguarding, behaviour and reporting procedures.

    *

Build positive relationships with students and staff across school settings.

    The Ideal Candidate Will:

    *

Hold QTS or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification (essential).

    *

Be a confident ECT or an experienced teacher within the secondary phase.

    *

Demonstrate strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for KS3–KS4.

    *

Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, attainment and behaviour.

    *

Show an exemplary commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

    *

Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with colleagues and school leaders.

    What The Schools Offer:

    *

Supportive departments and senior leadership teams.

    *

    Engaged and respectful students.

    *

Clear cover routines and behaviour expectations.

    *

Opportunities for repeat bookings and long-term roles.

    *

A welcoming and inclusive school environment.

Applications are being reviewed on a rolling basis, so we encourage early submission to avoid missing out. Apply now to be considered.
If you bring relevant experience and a commitment to high standards, we encourage you to apply — even if you don’t meet every listed requirement.
