The Opportunity
Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Bedale to recruit a talented and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to start in April 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive department and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
You'll play a key role in developing students' understanding of computing, programming, and digital literacy, helping to prepare them for an increasingly technology-driven world.
Your Role Will Include:
* Delivering high-quality Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Teaching key topics such as programming, algorithms, and computer systems
* Creating engaging and interactive lessons that inspire student interest
* Assessing, monitoring, and supporting student progress
* Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies
* Contributing to the wider school community where required

What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Computer Science in UK secondary schools
* Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
* A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Two recent professional references
* A passion for education and inspiring young learners
* Adaptability and confidence across different school settings
