ROLE: Cleaning Supervisor
HOURS: 42 hours per week
LOCATION: Heathrow Airport

We're looking for a Cleaning Supervisor who will manage a cleaning team across multiple sites at Heathrow Airport, delivering high standards in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and company policies.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage a cleaning team across multiple sites, including recruitment, staff development, inductions, training, and performance monitoring, ensuring annual appraisals are carried out and absence/holiday management is maintained in line with Mitie policies and procedures
- Deliver routine planned and periodic cleaning, allocate duties, monitor cleanliness standards, carry out daily audits via CAFM systems, and ensure all areas meet required frequencies and SLAs
- Provide technical training on equipment, cleaning practises, and use of chemicals, ensuring all Health & Safety procedures are followed, safety signage is used correctly, and all incidents are reported appropriately
- Manage stock levels, uniforms, cleaning materials, and equipment, ensuring machinery is safe and maintained, storage areas are secure, and records such as attendance registers and stock sheets are accurately completed
- Respond to customer complaints, major incidents, and site issues professionally, liaising with Duty Managers, Engineering Help Centre, and Soft Services teams to ensure effective resolution and continuous service improvement
Required Qualifications:

- Previous supervisory and cleaning experience
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently
- Ability to follow schedules and lead a team effectively
