How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Primary Teacher

    Location: Greenwich

    Salary: MPS/UPS

    Ofsted: Good with Outstanding features

    We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher (KS2) to join our friendly, supportive team at a two-form entry primary school in Greenwich. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in a large and welcoming school with a close-knit community. The role is a full-time, fixed-term position starting September 2026 until July 2027.

    Primary Teacher Key Responsibilities:

    Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that align with the National Curriculum in Key Stage 2
    Develop engaging and differentiated learning activities that challenge and support all students in reaching their full potential.
    Work closely with the Teaching Assistant to ensure tailored support for students, especially those with additional learning needs.
    Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to pupils and parents on academic achievements and development.
    Lead, guide, and motivate Key Stage 2 pupils, ensuring they are well-prepared for their transition to secondary school.
    Collaborate with the wider staff team and leadership to ensure high standards of teaching and learning across the school.

    Primary Teacher Key Requirements:

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent experience teaching Key Stage 2 or a desire to teach it
    Excellent behaviour management techniques with a good sense of humour
    The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
    Passionate about supporting children's development both academically and socially.
