About the Role
PK Education are working with a well-established secondary school in Sheffield who are seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join their team. This role will cover Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, providing an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious ECT to inspire students and develop their artistic skills.
You will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and practical skill development. Students will be supported to explore a wide range of media, techniques, and art forms, preparing them for success in GCSE Art and fostering a lifelong appreciation of the subject.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and delivering engaging Art lessons across KS3 and KS4. Supporting students’ artistic development and fostering creativity in all learners. Assessing and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback. Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management. Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities within the Art department.
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge and passion for Art. Ability to inspire and engage students across KS3 and KS4. Excellent classroom management and organisational skills. Reflective practitioner committed to professional development. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
