    Job description

    Location: Essex
    Start Date: Wednesday, 15th April 2026
    Contract: Part-Time (Wednesday – Friday)
    Salary: £200 - £230 per day 
    Duration: Until end of April (TBC) – potential to extend on an ongoing basis

    About the Role:
    We are currently supporting a secondary school in appointing a Part-Time Teacher of Science to cover a short-term absence. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Science Teacher to join a supportive department and make an immediate impact.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
    Plan, prepare, and mark work in line with the curriculum
    Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
    Support students to achieve their full potential Requirements:

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
    Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
    Strong classroom management skills
    Ability to start immediately and commit to the required days Why Apply:
