How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Complex Needs Teacher – KS3/4 – SEND School
    Are you a dedicated teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity to support students with complex learning needs? Do you want to teach small classes where personalised learning, structure and strong relationships help students thrive? This excellent SEND school is looking to appoint a committed Complex Needs Teacher to join their specialist provision, supporting a Key Stage 3/4 class in a highly supportive and well-resourced environment.

    As a Complex Needs Teacher, you will work within a specialist provision for students with a range of complex needs, delivering a highly personalised curriculum that supports both academic and life skills development. You will create a calm, structured and engaging classroom environment where students can build confidence, develop communication skills and make meaningful progress. You will be supported by experienced and proactive Teaching Assistants, as well as an outstanding leadership team.

    You will be line managed by an experienced, friendly and supportive Assistant Headteacher who is committed to staff wellbeing and development, ensuring you have the guidance and support needed to succeed in your role. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right teacher.

    Job Role:

    Teaching a small Key Stage 3/4 class of students with complex needs
    Planning and delivering highly differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
    Creating a structured, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
    Supporting students’ communication, independence and life skills
    Working closely with experienced Teaching Assistants to support learning and care needs
    Using a range of strategies and resources to engage learners
    Assessing, monitoring and recording student progress
    Contributing to EHCP targets and personalised learning plansIn Return You Will:
