How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Corporate Lawyer (3–5 PQE) – Media

    Overview

We are working with a fast-growing business within the media sector, seeking a bright and commercially minded junior corporate lawyer to join its legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a well-trained lawyer looking to broaden their in-house experience beyond traditional transactional work.

The role is ideally suited to someone who has trained at a strong firm, is intellectually curious, and is keen to develop a more rounded, strategic skillset within a dynamic business environment.

    The Role

Reporting into senior legal leadership, you will support on a range of “central” corporate matters, while also gaining exposure to commercial legal work and elements of PLC governance.

This is not a deal-heavy M&A role, but rather a varied and business-facing position offering genuine breadth and development.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support on core corporate matters across the group, including internal structuring and governance
    • Assist with PLC-related governance work, including board and committee support
    • Provide legal input on central business functions and strategic initiatives
    • Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements as required
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, HR, and operations
    • Support on ad hoc corporate projects and business-critical initiatives
    • Liaise with external counsel where necessary

    Requirements

    • UK-qualified lawyer with c. 3–5 years’ PQE
    • Strong grounding in corporate law from a reputable law firm
    • Exposure to governance work and/or listed company environments is advantageous
    • Interest in expanding into commercial and broader in-house legal work
    • Commercially aware, pragmatic, and solutions-focused
    • Strong academics and training background
    • Confident communicator with the ability to engage with stakeholders across the business
