How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Senior Employment Lawyer – International Markets (Permanent)

We are partnering with a fast-growing, emerging media international business undergoing significant global expansion. As part of this growth, they are seeking a commercially minded Employment Lawyer to take ownership of employment matters across international markets.

This is a unique opportunity for a mid-level lawyer to step into a regional leadership role, working closely with senior stakeholders and shaping employment strategy across a global workforce.

    The Role

Reporting into the senior legal leadership team, you will be the primary point of contact for all employment law matters across international markets. You will play a key role in supporting business growth, managing risk, and driving best practice across a diverse and international workforce.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead on all employment law matters across international markets
    • Advise on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious issues, including disciplinary processes, grievances, redundancies, and exits
    • Partner closely with HR and senior leadership to provide strategic, commercially focused advice
    • Support on cross-border projects, including restructurings, integrations, and workforce expansion
    • Manage and coordinate external counsel across multiple jurisdictions where required
    • Draft, review, and update employment contracts, policies, and internal procedures
    • Ensure compliance with local employment laws and evolving regulatory frameworks
    • Drive consistency and best practice across international employment processes

    Requirements

    • Qualified lawyer with c. 4–10 years’ PQE (UK or equivalent common law jurisdiction preferred)
    • Strong employment law experience, ideally gained in a reputable law firm or in-house environment
    • Experience advising across multiple jurisdictions strongly preferred
    • Commercially astute with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving business
    • Confident working autonomously and engaging directly with senior stakeholders
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
