About the Head of Technical job
As a customer focused head of department, you will be responsible for the food safety and legality of manufactured products and compliance to customer codes of practice and industry guidelines.
Key tasks
- Responsible for all company technical teams.
- Responsible for ensuring site standards comply with customer expectations.
- Ensure the departmental managers have agreed KPI’s and ensure a culture of continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with the other team members to deliver the business objectives.
- Support good health and safety working practices in the department.
About You
- You will need to be well-experienced within a technical capacity in food manufacturing. In addition:
- Excellent team and people management skills and experience.
- Experience of dealing with UK retailers and BRC standards and audits.
- Degree educated with HACCP and Food Safety Level 4.
- A proven track record of continuous improvement and implementation.

The Head of Technical job (ref:9028) is paying £80,000 plus a discretionary bonus according to your experience.
The site is based in Berkshire and is commutable from all areas of Berkshire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire.
