How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role Description

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our team in Ipswich as an Administrative Assistant. You will collaborate closely with the recruitment team, hiring managers, and candidates to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment journey.


    This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires exceptional organisational and communication skills. You must be capable of working to tight deadlines whilst ensuring consistency and accuracy, able to prioritise workloads and be able to work on your own initiative as well as under supervision. An enthusiastic and energetic approach to work along with an acceptance of working flexibly and continuously changing working practices is essential. You must be IT confident.


    Qualifications

    • Strong Administrative Assistance and Executive Administrative Assistance skills to provide effective support
    • Proficiency in Clerical Skills, including document management, organisation, and record-keeping
    • Excellent Communication and Phone Etiquette, ensuring professionalism in verbal and written interactions
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools
    • Prior experience in an administrative or related role is preferred
    • Right to work in the Uk
