Job Title: Humanities Teacher – SEND

Salary: £160 – £230 per day (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Humanities Teacher to join a specialist SEND school in Nuneaton on a temporary basis starting after half term. This is an excellent opportunity to support pupils with additional needs through engaging and accessible Humanities lessons, including subjects such as History, Geography, and PSHE.
You will play a key role in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum tailored to meet the diverse learning needs of students in a supportive and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver differentiated Humanities lessons suitable for pupils with SEND.

Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of needs, including ASD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
*
Create engaging and inclusive lessons that promote curiosity and understanding of the world.

Work closely with teaching assistants and the SENCo to support individual learning plans.
*
Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress.
*
Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation within the classroom.
Ideal Candidate:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
*
Experience teaching Humanities subjects (History, Geography, PSHE).
*
Experience working with SEND pupils, or a strong willingness to adapt teaching practice.

Strong classroom management and communication skills.
*
