Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician looking for a role where every day brings something new?
We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing UK organisation for a proactive and experienced professional to help keep multiple sites running safely and efficiently.
Although, based at my client's site in Newport, you will be responsible for the maintenance across multiple sites so a full driving license/ability to travel across sites is essential.
What you’ll be doing:
In this hands-on role, you’ll carry out maintenance and repairs across several UK sites, including:
- General building maintenance and repair work
- Basic electrical, plumbing, cladding, and minor joinery tasks
- Safe operation of plant equipment (cherry picker/scissor lift – IPAF required)
- Liaising with external contractors when needed
- Following safe systems of work in line with CDM Regulations
- Keeping accurate maintenance logs and records
What we're looking for:
- Experience in plumbing, cladding, and general building work
- A recognised electrical qualification
- IPAF licence preferred (training may be provided)
- A full UK driving licence & willingness to travel to various sites
- The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
