An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Estimator to join a leading architectural steelwork company based in Kegworth. With a strong pipeline of commercial and public projects, this is a fantastic time to join a business delivering high-quality, precision-engineered architectural steelwork from concept through to fabrication and installation.
What you’ll do:
📊 Prepare accurate estimates and quantity take-offs for architectural steel projects
📐 Analyse drawings, specifications, and client requirements to produce competitive bids
🤝 Collaborate with design, project, and fabrication teams
📝 Support project planning, budgeting, and cost tracking
📂 Manage multiple projects and ensure timely delivery of estimates
👥 (Optional) Provide input to senior management on cost-saving opportunities and project feasibility
You’ll need:
✔ Proven experience as an Estimator in architectural or structural steelwork
✔ Strong experience with quantity take-offs and project costing
✔ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
✔ Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
✔ Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and proactive attitude
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
