Milk Education is recruiting a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to support pupils and teachers in primary schools across Bishop Auckland. This is a fantastic opportunity for both new and experienced TAs to make a real difference in an inclusive environment that champions diversity, equality, and pupil wellbeing.
The Role – Teaching Assistant
- Support pupils one-to-one or in small groups, including those with SEND
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Prepare learning resources and support administrative tasks
- Support behaviour management and pupil engagement
Essential Requirements
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ, or equivalent)
- Experience working in schools or with children
- Ability to support pupils with additional learning needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, adaptable, and passionate about helping children learn
