Elevation Recruitment Group are looking for an R&D Chemist to join a manufacturing business based in Leeds. This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary and benefits package. The company will consider applicants with at least one year of industry experience or relevant PhD experience.

As the R&D Chemist you will:
- Be involved in research, formulation and testing activities to support the development of new and improved products
- Develop and test new formulations in line with project requirements
- Improve existing products to meet customer, market or regulatory needs
- Conduct laboratory testing, trials and data analysis
- Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Work with production to scale up products from lab to manufacturing
- Keep up to date with industry developments and best practice
To be considered for the R&d Chemist role you will need:

- Degree in Chemistry or related subject, or PhD in a relevant area
- At least one year of relevant industry or post-doctoral experience
- Knowledge of formulation chemistry and laboratory techniques
- Lubrication experience
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
