A global consulting and professional services firm is hiring Oracle Cloud Security Technical Leads at two levels (Manager and Senior Manager) to support large-scale Oracle Cloud transformation programmes.
Our client is one of the largest consulting organisations globally, known for delivering complex technology and cloud transformation programmes for enterprise and public sector organisations. Their Technology & Transformation practice leads major digital modernisation initiatives across finance, supply chain, and enterprise platforms.
Within this, their Oracle Cloud Engineering team specialises in designing and delivering secure Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Applications Cloud environments, supporting organisations moving critical systems into scalable and secure cloud platforms.
About the Role
These roles sit within a specialist Oracle Cloud Engineering capability responsible for designing and securing large Oracle Cloud environments as part of enterprise transformation programmes.
You will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of security controls across Oracle Cloud platforms, ensuring enterprise systems meet strict security, compliance, and operational standards.
The role combines cloud architecture, security engineering, and technical leadership, working closely with client security teams, architects, and delivery teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the security architecture and solution design for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Applications Cloud environments.
- Applying security frameworks such as NCSC Cloud Security Principles and Cyber Assessment Framework standards.
- Designing and implementing security capabilities across Oracle Cloud services including Vault, Data Safe, Cloud Guard, Vulnerability Scanning, and Network Firewall.
- Providing technical leadership across areas such as identity and access management, audit logging, database security, key and secret management, and zero trust networking.
- Leading engineering teams responsible for delivering secure Oracle Cloud platforms.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to client security stakeholders and guiding risk mitigation strategies.
- Embedding DevSecOps security practices into cloud delivery pipelines.
- Supporting proposals, solution design, and technical planning for future cloud engagements.
Ideal Background
- Strong experience delivering cloud security architecture within Oracle Cloud environments.
- Experience designing and securing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Applications Cloud platforms.
- Experience leading technical teams within large cloud implementation or migration programmes.
- Deep technical understanding of Oracle Cloud security services and infrastructure components.
- Experience implementing enterprise cloud security frameworks and controls.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and client-facing experience.
- Practical experience working within Agile, DevOps, or DevSecOps delivery environments.
Desirable experience includes:
- Oracle Cloud certifications such as OCI Architect Professional or OCI Security Professional.
- Experience across multi-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Industry experience across public sector, financial services, or large enterprise organisations.
Salary
Senior Manager
- London: £77,000 – £90,000 + 7% bonus + £6,700 car allowance
- Manchester: £65,800 – £75,000 + 7% bonus + £6,700 car allowance
- Belfast: £58,850 – £66,000 + 7% bonus + £6,700 car allowance
Manager
- London: £61,000 – £70,000 + 5% bonus + £5,100 car allowance
- Manchester: £51,850 – £60,000 + 5% bonus + £5,100 car allowance
- Belfast: £46,000 – £52,000 + 5% bonus + £5,100 car allowance
Who Should Apply
