How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    • Maintain audit readiness by keeping training records, compliance logs, and system documentation accurate and up to date.
    • Ensure that any changes made to the project plan are managed to a high standard. Ensure all risks are identified, monitored and escalated.
    • Monitor and evaluate the success of the new LMS implementation, adjusting the project plan when required to optimise the performance of the system.
    • Plan and implement Go Live and Post Go Live activities to drive engagement amongst the workforce to ensure the implementation is a success.
    • Provide regular and up-to-date reports to the senior management team.
    • Ensure that the LMS platform is fully compliant with data protection regulations, accessibility standards and technical e-learning standards.
    • Liaise with stakeholders on platform change and improvements.
    • Provide continuous improvement to the LMS as this is an ongoing process – keep training relevant, effective and aligned to the organisations evolving needs.
    • Advise on system capabilities, limitations and design options to support decisions related to the LMS.
    • Support the organisation with setting up learning content within the LMS.

    • Develop and maintain system guides and user documentation to help employees navigate the LMS.
