    Year 6 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)
    Full-Time | Fixed Term (One Academic Year) | Paid to Scale

    A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Camden is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Class Teacher to join their team on a full-time maternity cover basis for one academic year.

The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing pupils for the transition to secondary school, delivering engaging and high-quality teaching across the curriculum.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Plan and deliver creative, well-structured lessons aligned with the Year 6 curriculum
    Support pupils' academic progress and emotional development
    Prepare pupils effectively for end-of-key-stage assessments
    Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
    Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parentsThe Ideal Candidate Will:

    Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
    Have experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2 (preferably Year 6)
    Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
    Be committed to high standards of teaching and learning
